Ensures full and appropriate implementation of IEP's for students with disabilities within public and private schools and provides technical assistance to special education teachers, general education teachers, related service providers, paraprofessionals and other school personnel interacting with the student.

For specialized areas such as Teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Visually Impaired Students, a minimum of Bachelors Degree with required successful student teaching in the areas of Vision Impairment or Hearing Impairment.  Hold and maintain current licensure in the State of Indiana for the area(s) of Vision or Hearing Impairment.
